As an Italian deeply rooted in the heritage of my country, the hotel's location along the ancient pilgrim's way from Canterbury to Rome spoke to my soul. The welcoming proprietors made us feel at home, and our spacious room provided a cozy retreat after exploring nearby Vetralla and the enchanting gardens of Bomarzo and Lante.The family-friendly atmosphere was evident in the thoughtful amenities, such as ample parking and a serene garden where our children, aged two and five, could play freely. The proximity to Tuscia and Viterbo allowed us to immerse ourselves in the rich culture of the region, while the beach at Lago del Vico was a mere 15 minutes away by car.Antica Locanda Della Via Francigena effortlessly balances history with modern convenience, making it an ideal choice for families seeking a peaceful retreat infused with Italian charm.
